Liaison International partners with the American Dietetic Association to provide a Centralized Application Service

Watertown, MA – The American Dietetic Association (ADA) has selected Liaison International to provide a full-service Web-based application and admissions system for prospective Dietetic Internships programs and candidates, which will be known as ‘DICAS.’ DICAS will improve the process for applicants seeking admission to Dietetic Internships programs and provide participating programs with support to facilitate the admissions and selection process. DICAS will begin accepting applications in the Fall of 2010 for the 2011 entering class.

In response to requests from the dietetics educators, the ADA Education Committee noted that Dietetic Internships programs and candidates would benefit from the development and operation of a centralized application service. After an extensive search for vendors, committee members were impressed by Liaison’s experience in developing and operating centralized application services (CAS). Liaison International has special expertise in developing Web-based application and admissions products and was selected to assist both admission programs in the receipt, processing, and consideration of applications for admission, and individual applicants in applying for admission to other programs.
