Boston University’s Metropolitan College Awards Local Information Technology CEO with Distinguished Alumni Award

Boston, MA — Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET) awarded Founder, President, and CEO of Liaison International George Haddad a 2009 Distinguished Computer Science Alumni Award.  Haddad was presented with the award at a reception at Boston University’s Charles River Campus on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Computer Science at MET. 

MET Alumni Officer Laura Blanchard said: “We are thrilled to honor George for his accomplishments in the computer science industry.  Alumni are an important part of our community and we enjoy calling attention to those individuals who are succeeding as a result of their Boston University education.”

Haddad founded Liaison International in 1990 and served as President and CEO since its inception.  Under his leadership, Liaison International became the leader in providing Centralized Application Services and Information Technology Services to educational associations, accrediting agencies, and academic institutions.  In his role as CEO, Haddad is responsible for driving the company’s strategic planning and business growth strategy.  He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Boston University Academy and the Board of Visions of a Better World Foundation.
