The American Dental Education Association has partnered with Liaison International to launch a Centralized Application for Advanced Placement for International Dentists (CAAPID)

Watertown, MA – Liaison International is pleased to announce—in conjunction with the American Dental Education Association (ADEA)—the successful launch of a new application service for advanced placement predoctoral programs for graduates of dental schools outside the United States or Canada. The new centralized application service launched on June 8, 2009.

CAAPID was developed at the request of admissions officers from many U.S. and Canadian advanced placement programs for international dental graduates. ADEA opened its first CAAPID application cycle in 2009. The application period extends through February 2010. Currently 40+ dental schools offer these programs, which enable international dental graduates to obtain a U.S. or Canadian dental degree.

Similar to ADEA AADSAS (predoctoral application service) and ADEA PASS (postdoctoral application service), the ADEA CAAPID application allows international dental graduates to submit a single application and set of credentials that is be distributed by ADEA to all participating programs designated by the applicant.
