The Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders has partnered with Liaison International to launch a Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS)

Watertown MA, January 2008 – Liaison International is pleased to announce the signing of a contract with the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Liaison International together with the Council has laid the groundwork to establish a Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS) for graduate programs in Audiology and Speech Pathology. The new Centralized Application Service is scheduled to receive the first set of student applications in September 2008.

Advisory Committee Chair Richard Hurtig comments, "This is a wonderful opportunity for Council members to help design a system that will be maximally tailored to meet the needs of academic programs in CSD. The secure web portal will allow us to track the characteristics and progress of students entering our individual university programs as well as each of the two professions. Such information can be used to maximize future recruitment efforts. " The service will also be helpful for students. A centralized application and set of requirements that are standard to all participating member schools will allow the applicant to submit one application, one set of transcripts, and one set of letters of recommendation through a single portal.
