The Advanced Practice Experience Site Profiling System (APESPS) opens the door for eight colleges and schools of pharmacy and their practice partners to receive the inaugural AACP Crystal APPLE (Academic-Practice Partnerships for Learning Excellence) Award

Watertown MA, November 2007 – Liaison International, the leading provider of software and services to health profession associations and the higher education market, along with American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) announced the successful launch of the Advanced Practice Experience Site Profiling System (APESPS) for the Academic-Practice Partnership Initiative. The APESPS, developed by Liaison International and launched in February 2007, is a web-based system with an easy-to-use toolkit designed for use by pharmacy schools to highlight exemplary experiential education practice sites exhibiting the Academic Practice Partnership Initiative-developed quality standards.

The web-based APESPS system allows the programs to identify, document, and profile the contributions of the faculty/administrators at colleges and schools of pharmacy and the pharmacist practitioner educators and administrators who are their practice partners in successfully conducting and supporting quality experiential education in exemplary patient care clinical teaching environments. Eight colleges and schools of pharmacy and their practice partners received the inaugural AACP Crystal APPLE (Academic-Practice Partnerships for Learning Excellence) Award using the APESES process.
