Application Processor
SUMMARY: The Application Processor of a centralized application service is responsible for daily processing of applications including course verification, customer support, and communication with college staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responds to inquiries and concerns of applicants via phone and e-mail
- Verifies accuracy of applicant-entered coursework using official post-secondary transcripts
- Performs a range of administrative functions in support of application process
- Corresponds with Registrar's Offices at colleges and institutions, relative to the authenticity and verification of official transcripts
- Troubleshoots potential problems with web-based applications
- Accurately follows service-specific guidelines
OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:
- Attends regular team and staff meetings
- Generates and prints scheduled mailings as needed
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisors
- Maintains flexibility with variable business cycle
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience
- Previous admissions experience and/or familiarity with application processes preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Experience with computer and internet operations required
